The light was still flashing POTS while in the washing process, and the plates with a surface area of fat left. "Troubleshooting" section in the manual shows the temperature, but our machine only uses cold water.

No, the dishwasher uses only cold water and hot water is only for the mechanic or contact the dealer bought to use their connections to water properly, offer the dishes clean, the supply of cold water Good luck!
